GESTURE OF FAIR PLAY OF THE SPECIAL ATHLETE BARBARA DE BIAGI

The San Marino Fair Play Committee (CNSFP) would like to congratulate the Special Athlete Barbara De Biagi of the San Marino Federation of Special Sports in San Marino and the Coach Paola Carinato protagonist of a Fair Play Gesture during the recent Spanish National Games held in Andorra . The San Marino athlete Barbara De Biagi, under the guidance of her Coach Carinato, participated in the 100-meter race, on the occasion of the qualifying batteries Barbara was in battery with a Spanish athlete who went into crisis and refused to leave , the attempts of the volunteers to convince her to leave, a net refusal, were of no avail. At this point Barbara came forward with enthusiasm and embraced the Spanish athlete cuddling and talking about it in a very reassuring way and after a few minutes the Iberian girl calmed down and positioned herself on the starting line again. Both qualified for the final of the following day where Barbara won the gold medal. A beautiful virtuous example of altruism of Barbara and her Coach Carinato who can transmit to her athletes during training the attention on correct, loyal behavior inspired by the values ​​of Fair Play. The CNSFP will confer with merit to Barbara De Biagi the Fair Play Award to GESTURE on the occasion of the "3rd World Fair Play Day" scheduled for next November 2019.
