On the 18th of October 2018 the PEACE & SPORT Organization organized a Regional Forum in Rhodos Island in Greece
On the 18th of October 2018 the PEACE & SPORT Organization organized a Regional Forum in Rhodos Island in Greece under the topic “Societies in motion: rising up through sport”. The EFPM was invited to take part in this Forum and was represented by Ioannis Psilopoulos, EFPM Gen. Secretary.
The event was a huge success, with the active participation of 36 speakers, including active and former Ministers of Sport form the Mediterranean Countries, politicians, top star athletes, coaches and sports officials, activists and businessmen. During this event PEACE & SPORT presented their annual Awards, among which the organization “Budo for Peace” of our good EFPM friend Dani Hakim from Israel was one of the three winners, due to his remarkable work with the emigrants and refugees of the Eastern Mediterranean Region.
