The awards founded by the Azerbaijan Fair Play Commission were presented in Baku

Since 2007, each year Fair Play Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan (AzFPC) traditionally holds different events to draw the attention of sports community to this field, promote the principles of fair play and encourage those committed to these principles.

The distinguished ones are awarded in the nominations of “Physical training and sports figure committed to the principles of fair play”, “The best promoter of the principles of fair play”, “A referee committed to the principles of fair play”, “A coach committed to the principles of fair play”, “An athlete committed to the principles of fair play” and “An ambassador committed to the principles of fair play”.

According to the results of 2017 awards ceremony was held in National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan for various nominations.

In addition to these nominations given in the end of the year during in different year-round competitions distinguished persons are awarded in various nominations.

In the 21st international tournament among juniors on freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, dedicated to the 20th January martyr Mushvig Isayev, held at the Baku Sports Palace on January 16-17 a group of sports professionals were awarded in five nominations by AzFPC.
