The "Sports City Istanbul" project was organized on 18 June 2025

As part of the “Sports City Istanbul Project”, a seminar titled “Fair Play Training in the Light of the Concept of Virtue and Ethical Values” was held with the participation of physical education teachers.

During the seminar, TMOK Fair Play Commission Vice President Prof. Dr. Selçuk Bora Çavuşoğlu and Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Hanife Banu Ataman Yancı delivered presentations on fair play.

Organized by the Strategy Development Branch in line with the vision and goals of the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, the “Sports City Istanbul Project” brought together physical education teachers from Büyükçekmece, Beylikdüzü, and Esenyurt.

At the event titled “Fair Play Training in the Light of the Concept of Virtue and Ethical Values”, Prof. Dr. Çavuşoğlu — also a board member of the European Fair Play Union — and Prof. Dr. Yancı explained the fair play philosophy.

The seminar was followed with great interest by the teachers. Esenyurt District National Education Branch Manager Derviş Çelik and school principal Hasan Kayaküçük were also present and extended their thanks to Çavuşoğlu and Yancı.
