2017 EFPM Flame Award Tira Pavuk (Hungary)

Ms. Pavuk showed her undisputed unselfishness and the feeling of fair play at the U20 European Championships in 3000m hurdles on 23 July 2017 in Grosseto (Italy), when she stopped her race to help the main winner candidate Lili Anna Toth who slipped and fell and was thus unable to continue her race. By stopping, Ms Pavuk put at risk her own race and therefore finished only on the 12th place. The audience awarded her with a big run of applause for her gesture.
