EFPM at the European Youth Olympic Festival

The stand of the European Fair Play Movement (EFPM) had the opportunity to welcome numerous delegations throughout the week. For the partners of the EFPM such as the European Olympic Academies with the presence of its president Manfred Lemmer or its head of Olympic education and European projects, Katrin Wallmann, who was accompanied by Aleš Šolar who is the director of Slovenian Olympic Academy (see picture).

Another delegation paid a special visit to the activities of EFPM, the delegation of North Macedonia which will host the 18th edition of the EYOF in 2025. The event will be organized in the capital of North Macedonia, Skopje. This was an opportunity for the EFPM delegate, Robert Perc, to already discuss the Fair Play activities to be developed at Skopje 2025..

The course of the Fair Play stories attracts a lot of attention. This is the first time that the EFPM has implemented such a presentation. The attention of the athletes was particularly drawn to the fact that they had the opportunity to read stories of the act of Fair Play of those who had been awarded an Award or a Diploma from the EFPM.

We also note the presence of Fair-Play delegates from the National Olympic Committees on the stand. Among many of them is Kasperas Sileikis, the Olympic Education Director of the NOC of Lithuania.

Thanks to the cooperation with the European Olympic Committee, Fair Play was at the heart of the Athletes' Village allowing all delegations and partners to familiarize themselves in an even more meaningful and structured way with the motto of the EFPM "Fair Play Spirit of Sport " .
