EFPM'S AWARD JURY HAS MADE ITS DECISION
This year marks the twenty-eighth edition of the European Fair Play Awards. The aim of the awards is to recognise people who have chosen the right path at an important crossroads, whether in sport or in their personal lives.
The Laureates are selected by the EFPM Award jury, which is made up of respected personalities from the world of sport: Danira Bilic (CRO), Alena Kanova (SVK), Rinaldo Orlandi (ITA), Ryszard Stadniuk (POL) under the leadership of Katarina Raczova (SVK). It was a very difficult decision as the jury received an exceptionally high number of very worthy proposals this year - 46 compared to 25 last year. We are particularly pleased that we are receiving more and more proposals in the Flame Award category, which is aimed at young people under 18. Therefore, the EFPM Award Jury has proposed to award 1 additional trophy and "Diplomas of Recognition" to several individuals and organisations in recognition of their commendable work.
In addition, some proposals could be kept and considered in the future - for example, projects that continue to work well and that we see as good for the future.
