The Fair Play Council of the Turkish National Olympic Committee, chaired by Erdoğan Arıpınar, taking into account that the first natural teachers of Fair Play are mothers, cooperated with municipalities whose presidents are women and implemented a project called FAIR PLAY MOTHERS. The first selected municipality was the city of Gaziantep. The mayor of the municipality, Fatma Şahin, was elected with the support of the people. The male and female panel team of the Fair Play Council of Turkey, consisting of experts and academics, opened the works of the World Fair Play Cartoon Competition in the main hall of the city and then the exhibitions of the World Fair Play Photography Competition. Then the mothers of Gaziantep, who filled the hall, explained to the applause how they would teach their children about Fair Play. At the end of the panel discussion, all the guests took the Fair Play Mother's Oath. The Fair Play oath was as follows: As a Turkish mother, I swear that I will take care of all the children of my country as if they were my own, that our path will be the path of the great Atatürk, that I will work for our children to walk towards the good, the true and the beautiful, which is Turkey's Fair Play slogan, throughout their lives. How lucky are the Fair Play mothers, how lucky are those who call themselves Turks. At the end of the panel discussion, Mayor Fatma Şahin received the world's first Fair Play Mother certificate from Erdoğan Arıpınar. All participating mothers received their Fair Play diplomas. Turkey's Fair Play Mothers will visit all the provinces of the country where women are mayors.
