S. BILAL PORSUN – SPORTS CULTURE AND OLYMPIC EDUCATION PROJECT (TUR) received THE "EUROPEAN FAIR PLAY PLAQUE OF MERIT AND DIPLOMA" 2025 UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE EUROPEAN OLYMPIC COMMITTEES

The Turkish National Olympic Committee's Sports Culture and Olympic Education Project (OLI) is being implemented in various provinces and districts of Turkey with 45-minute interactive educational presentations organized for primary school students in the age group of 9-11 with the participation of its experienced presenter, beloved mascot Oli, and role-model national athletes. The presentations, which are continuously developed in line with the interests and perceptions of children in the relevant age group with the cooperation of academics and child psychologists, are processed with various videos, cartoons, small competitions and colorful visuals aiming to ensure that children have fun while learning on topics such as sports, health, nutrition, environmental awareness, the human body, Olympic Games, sports branches, sports culture and ethics, and Fair Play. The project, which was launched in 2006, has so far visited nearly 60 different cities and more than 6,000 state and private primary schools; more than 2.5 million students have been reached.

Sibel Tel, the Coordinator of Sports, Culture and Olympic Education Projects of the National Olympic Committee of Turkiye, accepted the award.
