On 10 October 2025, the European University Sports Association celebrated the remarkable achievements and dedication of the university sports community in Zagreb (CRO).

The European Fair Play Movement (EFPM) had the honour and privilege to bestow the Diploma of Appreciation upon the European University Sport Association (EUSA) in heartfelt recognition of its decades-long cooperation with EFPM in advancing the ideals of fair play, ethics, excellence, friendship, education, and the promotion of Olympic values in sport and society.

EFPM further acknowledged EUSA’s enduring contribution to European initiatives dedicated to spreading the spirit of fair play, tolerance, and inclusion in sport, while inspiring future generations to uphold these noble values. EFPM and EUSA formally strengthened their partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding in June 2013.

The diploma was presented on the occasion of the EUSA General Assembly 2025 and Gala Awarding Ceremony by EFPM Vice President Robert Perc. The evening was filled with recognition, gratitude, and deep emotion, marking the farewell of Mr. Adam Roczek, EUSA President, and his dedicated team, who have led decades of remarkable work and development of university sport. On this occasion, Mr. Roczek was awarded the title of EUSA Honorary President.

The EFPM Vice President had the honour of jointly bestowing the EUSA “Enno Harms Fair Play Award” upon the University of Twente (NED), for the fair play gesture during the European University Games 2024. The university’s women’s volleyball team demonstrated outstanding integrity, respect and fair conduct in a situation that was beyond mere competition.

EFPM Vice President Robert Perc also extended warm congratulations to the newly elected EUSA President, Mr. Haris Pavletić of Croatia, who reaffirmed EUSA’s commitment to cooperation, development, and the promotion of sport values and fair play.
