FAIR PLAY: THE OTHER VICTORY OF SL BENFICA

The 2nd European Women's Futsal Tournament was held in Drachen, The Netherlands. The team of SL Benfica beat ASD Olimpus Roma by 7-3 and qualified for the final of the European Championships.Moreover, the team made a beautiful gesture of Fair Play towards their opponents. In the play, Benfica scored through Ana Alves, while a player from the Italian team suffered an injury that would force her to leave the pitch. After realizing what had just happened, the players coached by Bruno Fernandes let their opponents score and restore the goal deference that had existed prior to the injury. A beautiful act of Fair Play.
