Our Colors, our Hearts

On Sunday, April 14, the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee started a series of activities called Our Colors, our Hearts, which celebrate the upcoming biggest sports event – Games of the XXXIII Olympiad in Paris and promote the values of Olympism and fair play.

The series of activities kicked off with the „Our Colours, our Hearts Relay“ at the 76th National Run Devín – Bratislava. The ambassadors of the relay are the Olympic Champions Matej Tóth (athletics, 50 km walk, 2016) and Elena Kaliská (canoe slalom, K1, 2004 and 2008). Both of them set off from Devín accompanied by two dozen of Olympians, members of the Junior Olympic Team, representatives of the Slovak Paralympic family, delegates of the regional Olympic clubs, the SOŠV Fair Play Club, the Slovak Olympic Academy, the Slovak Association of Olympians, employees of the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee, students and partners of the Slovak Olympic team, representatives of the biggest supporter of Slovak sports, TIPOS national lottery.

The event continued with an autograph session by members of the Slovak Olympic team at Hviezdoslav Square in the center of Bratislava. This was followed by the distribution of torches to regions of Slovakia through representatives of 25 regional Olympic clubs. During the entire Sunday morning, the stand of the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee was also operating in the center of the capital where visitors of all ages could have fun and compete.
