2008 The European Fair Play Diploma

Mr.Algimantas Jucevicius received the distinction from Mr. Valdas Adamkus, President of Lithuania, during the Olympic Day in Vilnius on Jun 20th, 2009. He underlined the heroic contribution of Mr Jucevicius to the promotion of fair play.

Indeed, Mr. Jucevicius risked his life as he volunteered to rescue Mr. Povelauskas who had disappeared in the Tian-Shan mountains due to bad climate conditions.
